Hydrosafe is a product manufactured to provide the means for trainers to utilise all the benefits of oxygen therapy with their horses. It's formula consists of a stabilised form of peroxide, combined with colloidal silver.

The product was initially used (and it still is by many people) to purify drinking water. The active formula has been approved by the National Health & Medical Research Council, for this purpose.

After Hydrosafe has been ingested by the horse, it releases significant amounts of oxygen, which is readily absorbed and transported in the blood to all parts of the body. This appears to be particularly useful, with respect to refreshing the immune system, when the horse has been exposed to a virus. (this often causes the horse to feel lethargic and makes it difficult to finish on when racing.)

Simply adding 30 ml. of Hydrosafe to the drinking water each day, is sufficient to get the horse back on track, in most cases. Giving 15 ml of Hydrosafe, mixed with 50 ml of water, over the tongue, has been reported as a very useful pre-race treatment.
