An insecticidal spray for horses. Controls nuisance insects including Bush Fly, House Fly, Stable Fly, Midges and Sandflies. It also aids in the prevention of Queensland itch. Queensland Itch is a hypersensitivity to Sandflies and leads to intense itching with biting and rubbing and loss of coat. 

Contains Permethrin and Dibutyl phthalate
Permethrin is a sustained action insecticide. Dibutyl phthalate is a long term repellent particularly effective against midges and sandflies. Therefore Flyaway works for longer. So fewer applications are needed. In fact, a weekly application may be appropriate in some circumstances.

Contains DEET and Piperonyl butoxide
Piperonyl butoxide is a synergist to Permethrin. It renders insects more susceptible and assists with quicker knockdown. DEET is a highly effective insect repellent. It repels flies, mosquitos, midges and sandflies. This means that not only does Flyaway have a sustained action repellent, it also has a fast knock effect on insects.

Contains Lavender Oil plus the four repellents above
Lavender Oil contains 40% linalool, an herbal insecticide and repellent. The Lavender Oil, in conjunction with the other repellents, ensures the maximum efficacy, as there is not just reliance on one active. The lavender oil also imparts a pleasant perfume, avoiding the insecticidal smell of most repellents, making it better for human and horse noses.

Available in 500ml and 5L containers
The 500mL is a convenient, economical size. The five litre size is even more economical and convenient for those with more horses or a bigger fly burden.

Trigger spray or stream
The trigger spray does not make a noise and therefore will not frighten the horse on administration. The nozzle can also be adjusted to stream for targetting areas where a heavier application is required, such as corners in stables. Trigger spray is also included with the 5 litre pack.

Directions For Use
Flyaway is very safe when applied according to the directions.  When spraying the horse directly, spray lightly for a few seconds from head to rear, covering the eyes when spraying near the head. It can be applied daily in this way.  Spray animal sheds etc. and any place where flies and insects settle.  A heavy application may be applied to the animal, to provide sustained activity for up to one week.  Can be used twice daily for severe infestations.

As with all insecticides please keep out of reach of children. Flammable. This product also contains Diethyltoluamide, which may be dangerous when used in large amount or for a long period.
