FARNAM^® WORMA PASTE™ combines the two active ingredients typically used by veterinarians for stomach drenching due to: effectiveness, no known worm resistance and the sterilising against worm eggs (within 24 hours).

PRESENTATION:  Oral paste in dial a dose syringe.  FARNAM^® WORMA PASTE™ is safe for use in horses of all ages.

ACTIVE CONSTITUENTS:   Each gram contains: OXFENDAZOLE 107.2 mg PIPERAZINE  214.4 mg

PROPERTIES: A broad spectrum oral anthelmintic containing the combination of active ingredients preferred by vets for stomach tubing of horses to give superior control of intestinal worms in horses.  Sterilises worm eggs within 24 hours of administration.

CONTROLS:

• adult and immature forms of large roundworm (Pascaris equorum)
• pinworm (Oxyuris equi)
• large stongyles (Strongylus spp.) including tissue stages of S.edentatus.
• small strongyles (Cyathostomidae) - primary cause of verinous colic.
• adult stomach hair worm (trichostrongylus axei)
• adult stomach worm (Habronaema microstoma)

A single dose gives 59-88% control of migrating strongyles, with corresponding reduction in arterial lesions and frequency of associated colic.
(2 doses, 2 days apart increases this efficacy to 95%)

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:

• Treat all horses on the property every 6-8 weeks.  Treat visiting and new horses before introduction to the pasture (Use Worma & Bot during Autumn/Winter)
• Treat foals every 4 weeks to control roundworm.
• Ensure syringe is placed on the back of the horse's tongue, not between the teeth and cheek.  Keep horse's mouth shut until swallowed.
• A 42g syringe contains sufficient FARNAM^® WORMA PASTE™ to treat a 450 kg Horse
