Proheart for dogs (Moxidectin)

Proheart tablets are a monthly treatment for heartworm prevention, they do not treat existing heartworm disease. Before starting any preventative program, including monthly administration of Proheart tablets, it is recommended that dogs are checked for heartworm infection.

Proheart tablets have a wide margin of safety and can be used on all breeds of dogs including collies, stud dogs and breeding bitches. Do not use in puppies under 4 weeks of age.

Dosage:

For effective prevention of heartworm disease, tablets are given according to bodyweight at monthly intervals. This eliminates the tissue stage of heartworm and prevents the larvae from developing into harmful adult worms. Consult a veterinarian before starting treatment.

Small dog (up to 10kg): 1 tablet

Medium dog (11-22kg): 1 tablet

Large dog (23-45kg): 1 tablet

Extra-large dog (46-68kg): 1 tablet
